More Supposed Leaked 3G iPhone Shots: The Latest Buzz on the Next-Gen Device

Meanwhile, Chinese blog tw.apple.pro (which is experiencing high server load right now) has leaked four new images supposedly of the unreleased MacBook to Engadget. While the images appear very similar to the existing MacBook Air display, they could indeed be of a new MacBook since both laptops have a 13.3 inch widescreen display. Currently the legitimacy of these images are in question. Both the MacBook Pro and MacBook are rumored to see a revision around September.

However, it is more than a little frustrating that Apple insists on offering a phone with just 64GB of storage to start. The phone shoots up to 4K, 60fps video. Where are all those files supposed to go? Apple's iPhone 13 line now starts at 128GB across the board. That's the standard Apple should've followed here. The issue is compounded because the iPhone SE (2022) tops out at 256 GB of storage ($579 / 569 / AU$969), though there's also a 128GB option for $479 / 469 / AU$799.

In Portrait mode you can adjust a faux-aperture setting to control the depth of field effect, throwing more of less of the background behind your subject out of focus. I was a bit frustrated, however, that the iPhone SE Portrait Mode photography is still limited to people - you can't shoot bokeh shots of dogs, plants, or anything else without a face.

Third-generation mobile networks, or 3G, came to the U.S. in 2003. With minimum consistent Internet speeds of 144Kbps, 3G was supposed to bring "mobile broadband." There are now so many varieties of 3G, though, that a "3G" connection can get you Internet speeds anywhere from 400Kbps to more than ten times that.

The story started on Saturday with spy shots of a new handset turning up on Engadget after a tipster supposedly found a prototype iPhone 4G on the floor of a San Jose bar inside a iPhone 3G case and sent them some images.

Furthermore, we've had a UK site, who wants to remain anonymous for the moment, tell Pocket-lint that they were approached to buy images and information that matched the leaked images on 3 April, but decided that it could be a hoax and therefore steered clear.

There are two main schools of thought at the moment. First, Apple will up the screen size to 4.7-inches and leave it at that, while others speculate we may get a 4.7-inch iPhone and a 5.7-inch, or 5.5-inch iPhone/iPad hybrid. These supposed leaked schematics from Nowhereelse.fr also point to a larger screen.

If the next iPhone does have a larger, higher resolution display, then it makes sense for iOS 8 to increase the amount of apps it displays on each homepage. A leaked screenshot, supposedly showing iOS 8, has an icon grid five wide and six tall. This is one wider and one taller than the existing layout seen on iOS 7 and 4-inch iPhone models.

Updated on 04-14-2014 by Andy: A leaked screenshot supposedly shows iOS 8 running on a larger iPhone, complete with a higher amount of app icons on display. Plus, more leaks point to the iPhone 6 being thinner than previous models.

Nokia Mobile has launched four new devices today including a peculiar but ingeniously designed Nokia 5710 XpressAudio. The Nokia 5710 XpressAudio is a first of its kind, offering a built-in TWS earphone housed beneath the slider at its back. The phone is an ode to the original Nokia 5710 XpressMusic, which was never realized over a decade ago. We only see it on supposed leaked photographs, and that was it.

Another new Apple handset also surfaced, though it's still unconfirmed and it is little more exciting than a 3G iPhone with a new red back. Still, if it does happen (touching down this Christmas apparently), it will all be for a good cause as the handsets are supposedly in aid of the charitable Red campaign. 2ff7e9595c
